Our history connects the world

It all began in 1984 with the design and the manufacture of aluminium platforms for truck tail-lifts. Today, pml - the Peter Maier Leichtbau GmbH - is the global market leader in the industry.

Structural designs made of aluminium were added as a further business area in the 90s. Bridges and towers for a large variety of uses: Pedestrian and cyclist bridges, lookouts, radio as well as surveillance towers. The first bridge was built in 1997.
